χ Annual Report of the Council committee under the chairmanship of the Bishop of Hertford to con- sider the future of the fourth-year course When the decision was finally made in July to move the fourth-year course to St Augustine's Canterbury the Council directed that the following minute be entered in the records The Council endorses the move from Warminster to Canterbury not as rejection of what has been done at Warminster over the last twenty years but rather as step forward building on the past The decision to move depended on the goodwill of the Trustees of St Boniface College and on their being able to release King's College from obligation under lease on terms acceptable to themselves Their help towards enabling this move is all of piece with their moral and financial support of the fourth-year course since its inception at War- minster in 1948 On Trinity Sunday 1968 39 men were made deacon and 44 were ordained priest the numbers at Michaelmas were deacons and priests university degrees In the Honours Examination one student obtained First Class Honours five were placed in the upper second class eleven in the lower second class and three in the third class One student received an aegrotat degree Fifteen received pass Graduate students obtained higher degrees as follows Ph Carley Keith William comm Otago Cross Miss Brenda Christine McKinnon Revd Charles Paul sc Manitoba Toronto Selby Revd George Raymond Nottingham York Revd Douglas Storms Missouri Phil Braybrooke Revd Marcus Christopher Rossi Cambridge Th Ambalavanar Revd David Jeyeratnam Serampore Amos Alan John Hill Christopher Morley Lesley James Stapleton-Cotton The Hon Michael Wellington
