THE THEOLOGICAL DEPARTMENT of KING'S COLLEGE LONDON UNIVERSITY OF LONDON ANNUAL REPORT OF THE COUNCIL FOR THE SESSION 1967-68 presented to the COURT of the COLLEGE council and corporation The Council has met four times in joint session with the Theological Committee At special meeting on May 7th the Council received the report of the Committee set up under the chairmanship of the Bishop of Hertford to examine the advisability and feasibility of moving the Fourth Year Course from St Boniface College Warminster to St Augustine's College Canterbury and resolved 'As matter of policy the Council and Theological Committee desire to remove the fourth year college from St Boniface College Warminster to St Augustine's College Canterbury and further resolved to enter into discussions with the Trustees of Boniface College 'with view to negotiating the release of King's College London from its lease of the premises at Warminster in terms satisfactory to the Trustees' At the meeting on July nth having received the report of the Bishop of Hertford's Committee concerning negotiations with the Trustees of St Boniface College the Council resolved 'To remove the fourth year course from St Boniface College Warminster to St Augustine's College Canterbury as from 30th September 1969 The Council heard with regret of the death of Professor Hooke at the age of 93 on January 17th 1968 Professor Hooke had been Samuel Davidson Professor of Old Testament Studies from 1930 to 1946
