112 Faculties and Courses of Study Μ Mendelson oxford Jane Copeland ll london William Birtles ll london Lloyd oxford Bramwell ll london Patricia Harmer Capetown and cam- bridge ll cambridge one to be appointed Assistante in French Law Nicole Durand Students are prepared for the examinations of the University of London in the Faculty of Laws or may be permitted to attend any of the general lectures in Law or those on special subjects connected with the study of Law which are given from time to time in the College Students taking the course for the University examinations must enrol as Internal students of the University and the information which follows applies generally to courses for the Internal degree The lectures are available to External students of the University only by special permission of the Dean and this is given only in the most exceptional circumstances Lectures in Law are given at King's College Third-year students however may be required to attend some law lectures outside the College at University College the London School of Economics Queen Mary College and the School of Oriental and African Studies Students are not permitted to attend Bar lectures or other courses of lectures nor to prepare for Bar or other examinations during their course at the College without consulting their Tutor Undergraduate Courses ADMISSION OF STUDENTS Details of the procedure to be followed by students seeking admission to undergraduate courses are given on page 75 COURSES FOR THE LL DEGREE OF THE UNIVERSITY OF LONDON The course for the LL degree extends over three years The Inter- mediate examination is taken at the end of the first year and the two parts of the Final examination at the ends of the second and third years respectively
