86 General Information Should the Principal consider the conduct of any student other than Theological student to be such as to require more serious notice he will convene Court of Discipline consisting of the Principal the Deans of all the Faculties and if the conduct of any woman student is in question the Tutor to Women Students This Court shall have power to pass sentence either of temporary exclusion or of permanent expulsion from the College The student concerned shall be given an opportunity of attending the meeting of the Court and offering an explanation Should the Dean consider the conduct of any Theological student to be such as to require more serious notice he will- If he regards the conduct of such student as specially derogatory to his position in the Theological Department convene Court of Discipline consisting of the Dean the Principal the Chaplain and three professors or principal teachers of the Department or- ii If he regards the conduct of the student as generally prejudicial to the character or welfare of the College request the Principal to convene the Court of Discipline referred to in Rule Either Court shall have power to pass sentence either of temporary exclusion or of permanent expulsion from the College The student concerned shall be given an opportunity of attending the meeting of the Court and offering an explanation In all cases in which sentence of expulsion has been passed upon student right of appeal shall lie to the Council as regards Theological students and to the Delegacy as regards all other students The procedure defined in Rules to shall be without prejudice to any action that may be taken under the Regulations made by the Senate for the Board of Discipline of the University Residence There is no residential accommodation for students in the immediate vicinity of the College and students not living at home or with some responsible relative or friend are strongly advised to seek accommoda- tion at College or University hall of residence or in lodgings which have been inspected and classified by the University of London Lodgings Bureau list of halls of residence which offer accommodation to King's College students is given below and students wishing to live in any of them should write direct for an application form and further details As the number of vacancies occurring in halls each year is very limited applications for admission should be made as early as possible Stu- dents seeking lodging accommodation are urged to write to the Lodg- ings Bureau as soon as they know they will be requiring the assistance of the Lodgings Officer in finding accommodation
