194 Studentships Scholarships Exhibitions Bursaries and Prizes Postgraduate Awards TUTORIAL STUDENTSHIPS for Regulations see page 169 WOOLDRIDGE MEMORIAL AWARDS for Regulations see page 183 LAYTON SCIENCE RESEARCH STUDENTSHIP Regulations at present under review Founded under the will of Charles Edward Layton former Associate and Member of the Council who left sum of money to be devoted to Student- ship or Studentships in order to assist such students as may in the opinion of the Principal after consultation with the Professorial staff give the best promise of aptitude and genius for original scientific work DANIELL SCHOLARSHIP This Scholarship was founded in 1864 in honour of John Frederick Daniell Professor of Chemistry in King's College from 1831 to 1845 Its object is to encourage the prosecution of original research in Chemistry This Scholarship is of the value of Ā£40 is tenable for one year in the College and is open to every regular student of the College It will be awarded at the end of each session on the recommendation of the Daniell Professor of Chemistry The Scholar must undertake to work for higher degree HAROLD ROW STUDENTSHIP Founded in 1919 by Mrs Row in memory of her son Harold Row sc formerly student of the College and for 12 years member of the staff of the
