Studentships Scholarships Exhibitions Bursaries and Prizes 191 Undergraduate Awards CENTENARY SCHOLARSHIPS AND BURSARIES for Regulations see page 169 INTERMEDIATE SCHOLARSHIP Scholarship of Ā£40 year will be awarded annually to students registered at King's College in the Faculty of Laws upon the results of the Special Inter- mediate examination in Laws held at the end of each session and upon considera- tion of the work done during the session The Scholarship will be tenable for two years subject to satisfactory reports upon the student's progress The Scholarship will not be awarded if there is no candidate of sufficient merit Postgraduate Awards POSTGRADUATE ENTRANCE SCHOLARSHIP Any interested candidate who wishes further information regarding the above should write direct to the Dean of the Faculty of Laws Medals and Prizes In the Faculty of Laws HAROLD POTTER PRIZE The Prize was instituted in 1951 under the terms of the will of Professor Harold Potter Head of the Department of Laws from 1930 and Dean of the Faculty from 1938 The Prize consists of books to value of about ffi The Prize will be awarded annually to the student who in the opinion of the Principal and the Dean of the Faculty of Laws shall have attained most distinction in the course and examination for English Land Law whether taken at Part or Part II of the LL examination HICKLING PRIZE IN INDUSTRIAL LAW The Prize was instituted in 1966 from funds donated by Dr Hickling student and member of the staff who was associated with the Faculty of Laws from 1952 to 1966 The Prize consists of books to value of fy 9s The Prize will be awarded annually to the student who in the opinion of the Dean of the Faculty of Laws in consultation with his colleagues shall have attained most distinction in the subject Industrial Law in the course and examination taken for the LL degree
