Faculties and Courses of Study "3 intermediate ll course The Intermediate course is one-year course and prepares students for the Intermediate examination in the following subjects Constitutional and Administrative Law The English Legal System and its History Elements of the Law of Contract Criminal Law final ll courses candidate for admission to Part of the LL examination must have passed the Intermediate examination in Laws at least one academic year previously candidate for admission to Part II must have matriculated at least three academic years previously and have passed Part There is no exemption from either part All candidates must offer and pass in the four subjects of Part of the examination and in four subjects of Part II there wdl be one three- hour paper in each subject and in cases of doubt the examiners may in addition examine any candidate orally Part Law of Tort Law of Trusts Law of Property With the consent of the Dean of the Faculty candidates may be permitted to offer instead of the paper in the Law of Property the paper in the Law of Evidence or Muhammadan Law or Hindu Law or African Law set in the Final LL Part II One of the following The Roman Law of Obligations Elements of French Civil Law History of English Law Part II Jurisprudence and Legal Theory
