Annual Report of the Delegacy lxxv University the University of London Algebra Seminar and at the colloquium on Ring Theory held at Oberwolfach Germany and on 'Non Abelian Galois cohomology' at the universities of Warwick Tubingen and Koln German He further lectured on 'The arithmetic of Galois homomorphisms' at the universities of Koln and Karlsruhe Dr Allan delivered course of lectures with Professor Thompson on 'Direction of continental drift' at the International Union of Geodesy and Geophysics conference held in Newcastle in February 1966 In April he gave two lectures on 'Dynamo theories' and 'Convection in the upper mantle' at the American Geophysical Union meeting in Washington Dr Higgins gave course of postgraduate lectures on 'Cate- gories and groupoids' at Queen Mary College London Professor Kilmister spoke at the British Association for the Advancement of Science meeting in September 1966 on 'Recent de- velopments in general relativity' Dr Laird spoke to the Plasma Physics Seminar at Queen Mary College London and gave lecture on 'Charged particle trajectories' at the Culham Laboratory Dr Lue lectured at the University of Lille on Non-abelian co- homology of associative algebras' and at the University of Louvain on 'Non-abelian cohomology of Lie algebras' He also addressed the University of London Algebra Seminar on Non-abelian cohomology of algebras' Mr Reeve gave course of postgraduate lectures on 'Differential topology' at King's College He addressed seminars in the universities of Hull Durham and London on Connexions between singularities of algebraic surfaces rotation groups and Lie groups' and further semi- nars in London University on 'Plumbing' and 'Η-spaces' He gave lectures on 'Topology' to Sixth Form conference at the University of Nottingham and on 'Surfaces and knots' to the Mathematical Society of Northern Polytechnic and the Mathematical Society of the Uni- versity of Nottingham he also lectured on topology to the Mathe- matical Society of University College Aberystwyth and at Barnstaple School He spoke on Operational research' at Battle of Britain House and on 'K-theory' at the London University Institute of Education He also organised ten-week course for teachers of mathematics at the London University Institute of Education Dr Tyrrell gave two lectures to the London University Geo- metry Seminar on 'The generalisation of Clifford parallelism
