Annual Report of the Delegacy xxv of the following members of the MRC Biophysics Research Unit Dr Anita Bailey Dr Brown Dr Lowy and Dr Pelc Dr Fuller was promoted to be Lecturer in Biophysics The title of Reader in Physical Organic Chemistry was conferred on Dr Satchell Dr Nicholas and Dr Robinson were promoted to be Lecturers in Chemistry Dr Cox was promoted to be Senior Lecturer and Dr Emson Lecturer in Zoology Faculty of Medical Science Mr Grant from January ist 1966 Mr Ε Bozman Mr Halpin and Mr Mann Junior Lecturers in Anatomy Dr Cannon and Dr Margot Kogut Lec- turers in Biochemistry Dr Clark Assistant Lecturer in Pharmacology Mr Pearson and Miss AnneJ Pickersgill Junior Lecturers in Physiology The title of Professor of Anatomy was conferred on Dr Μ McMinn Mr Taylor was promoted to be Senior Lecturer in Physiology Faculty of Engineering Mr Prosser Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering from May ist 1966 The Library Mr Jones Assistant Librarian DEATHS The Delegacy learned with great regret of the deaths of two members of the professoriate of King's College Professor Watkins Professor of Chemical Engineering died on June 13 th following heart attack He was appointed Director of Chemical Engineering Studies in 1947 Reader in 1961 and Professor in 1963 He was well known and liked by all in College and will be much missed The Reverend Professor Woods Professor of Divinity died on May 31st following an emergency operation An Honorary Fellow and formerly Chaplain Fellow and Dean of Chapel at Downing College Cambridge he had been appointed to the Chair of Divinity at King's College as recently as 1964 but had already endeared himself to his colleagues In his death the College had suffered heavy blow memorial service was held in the College Chapel on July ist The deaths of the following former members of the College were reported also during the session
