Faculties and Courses of Study 133 London or an equivalent degree of another University The minimum period of study is two years Candidates are recommended to refer to the University Regulations for Postgraduate Students proceeding to the degree of Doctor of Philosophy and to consult the Dean of the Faculty of Music before making an application CERTIFICATE COURSE The CoUege awards Certificate in Advanced Musical Studies to graduate students who have satisfactorily pursued one year's course of study in the Faculty but who are debarred from registering themselves as Internal candidates for the Degrees of Mus Phd or Ph The course of study will be worked out individually for each candidate in accordance with his or her attainments and needs The Certificate wdl be endorsed with details of the course
