104 Faculties and Courses of Study The English Legal System Elements of the Law of Contract final ll courses candidate for admission to Part of the LL examination must have passed the Intermediate examination in Laws at least one academic year previously candidate for admission to Part II must have matriculated at least three academic years previously and have passed Part or have obtained permission to enter for it at the same time as Part II Such permission will be granted only in exceptional circumstances There is no exemp- tion from either part All candidates must offer and pass in the four subjects of Part of the examination and in four subjects of Part II there will be one three- hour paper in each subject and in cases of doubt the examiners may in addition examine any candidate orally Part Criminal Law or Indian Criminal Law Law of Tort Law of Trusts One of the five subjects to 11 below Part II Jurisprudence and Legal Theory Any three of the following which have not been taken at Part English Land Law Principles of the Law of Evidence English Administrative Law Muhammadan Law 10 Hindu Law 11 Roman Law 12 History of English Law 13 Public International Law 14 Conflict of Laws 15 Conveyancing 16 Succession Testate and Intestate 17 Mercantile Law τ8 Industrial Law 19 Law of Domestic Relations
