160 Studentships Scholarships Exhibitions Bursaries and Prizes Postgraduate Awards CLEAVE COCKERILL POSTGRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP Founded in 1937 under the will of Alice Mary Cockerill in memory of her brother Thomas Cleave Cockerill The following regulations were made by the Council of June 8th 1939 and revised on July 13th 1948 Candidates must be in Holy Orders in the Church of England or in some Church in communion with the Church of England Preference will be given to former students of King's College The Scholarship is of the value of £200 year together with free residence at the Theological Hostel in addition all fees will be remitted The Scholar will be required to reside at the Theological Hostel to read for higher degree of the University of London and to give some assistance in tutorial work in the Theological Department of King's College and at the Chapel Services in the Theological Hostel The Scholar may not undertake any outside work without the consent of the Council The usual appointment of Scholar will be for two years but the Council will require report on his progress at the end of the first year of tenure and may if they consider it necessary decline to confirm the award for the second year ST BONIFACE MISSIONARY COLLEGE STUDENTSHIP studentship of the value of £200 per annum has been made available by the Council of St Boniface College Warminster towards the salary of an addi- tional member of staff at Warminster who would be returning from work overseas either for one year or for longer period In the absence of such candidate the Council of King's College and the Council of St Boniface College will consider awarding this studentship to priest from an overseas diocese who wishes to do postgraduate theological study at King's College Medals and Prizes Prizes open to all Full-time Students of the College BARRY PRIZES The Barry Prizes in Divinity were founded by the friends and former pupils of the Right Rev Alfred Barry formerly Principal of King's College
