General Information 87 bathroom and lobby There are 20 rooms of this type Fee £155 each man Single study-bedrooms of moderate size fitted with hot and cold water and wash-basin There are 20 rooms of this type Fee £160 The fees quoted are for session of three terms They are payable in advance at the College Office by terminal instalments The meals provided are breakfast and dinner on Mondays to Fridays inclusive and full board at week-ends All rooms have central heating electric fires each with its own meter provide supplementary heating if desired The public rooms comprise two common rooms library billiards room ballroom normally used for badminton and table-tennis and dining hall Two electric lifts serve the upper floors During term time one guest room is available Applications should be made to the Sub-Warden Halliday Hall South Side Clapham Common SW4 as soon as possible after the applicant has been accepted whether definitely or conditionally by his Faculty for admission to the College and in any case not later than mid-May for residence the following October Canterbury Hall Warden Joan Bernard This University hall or residence for 220 women students situated in Cart- wright Gardens WC1 reserves 50 places for King's College students Fees are from £171 to £181 105 for session of about 30 weeks these include breakfast and dinner Monday to Friday and full board on Saturday and Sunday College Hall Principal Mrs Witt sc College Hall situated in Malet Street WC1 overlooks the University site and provides residence for 220 women students of the University Fees are from £189 to £210 session All meals except Monday to Friday lunches Nutford House Warden Elizabeth Osman Nutford House situated in Brown Street off George Street Wi is Uni- versity hall of residence and has accommodation for 193 women students mainly in single study-bedrooms The fees for session of approximately 30 weeks are Single room £171 share of double room £156 All meals except lunch Monday to Friday The three above-mentioned halls of residence for women students have common application form and the student should not apply to each hall but only to the hall of her first choice before the end of March for admission the following October
