General Information 75 Participation in the election of two members of the Council of King's College Attendance at the lectures given in the Faculty of Theology at reduction of 20 per cent in the fee for the whole course for the Associateship Admission to College lectures and classes exclusive of laboratories at reduction of 20 per cent in fees The use of the Library free of charge during the period of study Receipt of copy of the Annual Report of the Council General Facilities Student Health The College authorities have made provision for services in connection with the health of students and wish to bring to their notice the fol- lowing facilities all of which are free State Registered Nurse is on duty each week-day in the Chesham 1st Floor from 10 to 30 She will see any student of the College who has minor ailments or injuries or who wants advice If the nurse considers it necessary she will of course advise students to see the medical practitioner with whom they are registered All students living in College hall of residence are required to register with the medical officer appointed to the hall All students living in lodgings or in flats are urged most strongly to register with local general practitioner Two members of the Medical Faculty at the College are appointed by the College as honorary medical advisers In case of serious accident or sudden serious illness staff or students should make con- tact with Dr Cordingley of the Department of Anatomy In the case of students who have psychiatric troubles the pro- cedure recommended is that contact should be made with either the Sub-Dean of their faculty or with the Tutor to Women Students or the Chaplain in the first instance from whom they will receive both sympathetic hearing and further help Then if the matter is serious the College has made arrangements whereby treatment for psychiatric cases can be carried out by qualified psychiatrists Emergency dental treatment without prior appointment may be obtained from the Dental department of King's College Hospital
