68 General Information Fees The fees given below are for one academic year and are payable in ad- vance they may be paid terminally only on application and by special arrangement All fees given are those at the time of going to press the Council and Delegacy reserve the right to raise them without notice Composition fee this comprises registration matriculation tuition and examination fees for one attempt only at each examination and all other similar fees charged by the University or College In the tables which follow such fees are denoted by an asterisk student who enters the College direct from King's College School or from Strand School who produces certificate stating that he has attended for at least five terms in that school and who pays his own fees at College may apply for reduction of 20 per cent in his com- position fee Subject to the approval of the Dean of his faculty and of the Lecturer concerned student may attend any class in his own faculty or any one class in any other faculty without extra tuition fee Undergraduate Courses ARTS Honours in Geography including subsidiary Geology £87 os od Honours in Geography excluding subsidiary Geology or Mathematics £77 os od Honours in all cases except the above £72 05 od special registration fee of £3 is charged in lieu of the corresponding por- tion of the sessional composition fee to all Honours students who spend session or part of one at foreign university in connection with their degree courses and who need to remain registered at King's College during that time Separate Classes Students attending such classes pay fees on the following scale unless otherwise stated in the syllabus of the class £3 term or £7 session for one hour week LAWS LL £72 osod Separate Courses Fees for separate courses are charged on the following scale unless otherwise stated in the syllabus of course and are payable to each college at which course is taken £4 term or £11 session NATURAL SCIENCE Sc General £87 osod Sc Special in Geography excluding ancillary Geology or Mathematics £77 05 od Sc Special in all cases except the above £87 05 od Separate classes The fees unless otherwise stated are £3 term or £7 session for one hour week for lectures and £6 term or £14 year for three hours week for practical work
