66 General Information those who while not attending complete course are desirous of studying any particular subject or subjects They are required to submit themselves to the same discipline as full-time students while in the pre- cincts of the College At present occasional students are admitted to undergraduate courses only in very exceptional circumstances Only postgraduate students working for higher degree can be admitted as part-time students Applicants for admission to the College will not be accepted except in the case of some students from overseas without being interviewed by the Dean of the faculty which they desire to enter or his representa- tive and in the case of women applicants by the Tutor to Women Students in the Theological Department the Tutor to Women Theological Students Students entering the College are required to have reached the age of 17 years in the case of those in the Theological Department 18 years to sign declaration that they will observe the General College Rules and Library Rules to comply where applicable with the regulations of the University regarding eligibility for matriculation registration as internal students of the University attendance at recognised courses com- pletion of entry forms and payment of fees for examinations and other matters All applications for admission to first degree and diploma courses in the faculties of Arts Natural Science Laws Engineering Music and the Theological Department should be made through the Universities Central Council on Admissions 29 Tavistock Square London WC1 The handbook issued to schools and others by the Council should be consulted Men and women wishing to pursue training in the Faculty of Medi- cal Science at King's College should apply in the first instance direct to the hospital at which they wish to pursue their subsequent clinical training King's College Hospital St George's Hospital Westminster Medical School Intending dental students should apply to King's College Hospital Medical School Prospectuses and application forms for these hospitals may be obtained from the Secretary of the medical school of each hospital at the following addresses
