Faculties and Courses of Study 119 federation with both immediate and long-term aims In the session 1964-65 start will be made in the form of certain specialised courses on biological macromolecules to be attended by students from several of the constituent departments The long term aims are two-fold To offer Biology as main subject in general degree or its future equivalent To make available in addition to the special degrees already offered by the constituent departments special degree in Biology For both of these objectives it is hoped to develop more fully aspects of biology which are included in the general scope of biophysics or molecular biology as distinct and separate courses at the appropriate level
