Faculties and Courses of Study "5 Undergraduate Courses ADMISSION OF STUDENTS Details of the procedure to be followed by students seeking admission to undergraduate courses are given on page 62 Applicants are admitted by the Sub-Dean of the Faculty or in the case of women applicants by the Tutor to Women Students on behalf of the Dean of the Faculty and as advised by Heads of Depart- ments or their representatives DEGREE COURSES sc special degree This may be taken in Mathematics Botany Geography Physics Zoology Chemistry Geology No ancillary subject is required with Mathematics but other courses require one or more ancillary subjects in most of which the treatment is geared to the needs of the main subject Details regarding the entry requirements for individual courses are given in the separate brochures issued for each of the seven science departments Reference should be made to the prospectus of the Faculty of Medical Science for informa- tion about the conditions under which Anatomy and Physiology may be taken as main subjects sc general degree The General degree course is divided into two sections and the examina- tion is taken in two parts Part is taken after one-year course in three subjects"and Part II after further two-year course in two sub- jects The following combinations of subjects will normally be pro- vided at King's College Main Subjects Third Subject in Part only Mathematics Physics Chemistry or Geology or Geography or Psychology Mathematics Chemistry Physics Physics Chemistry Mathematics Chemistry Geology Physics Geology Geography Physics Physics Geography Mathematics For this subject arrangements would have to be made with another college
