GENERAL INFORMATION 43 This registration is effected by the student's completing Registra- tion Schedule on the occasion of his being enrolled by the Dean or Sub-Dean of his Faculty at the beginning of his first session in college The work at King's College in connection with the University of London consists of the following University of London King's College Faculty of Arts -This includes Language and Literature Classics English French German Modern Greek Portuguese Spanish History Ancient Medieval Modern Central Euro- pean Imperial and Colonial Palaeography Geography Mathematics Philosophy Theology Education War Studies ii Faculty of Laws -Students are prepared for the degrees and diplomas in Law of the University iii Faculty of Natural Science -This includes Mathematics Botany Chemistry Geography Geology Physics Zoology and postgraduate work in Biophysics iv Faculty of Medical Science -This includes Anatomy Bio- chemistry Embryology Histology Pharmacology Physiology Faculty of Engineering -This includes Civil Electrical and Mechanical Engineering and postgraduate work in Chemical Engineering King's College Theological Department Complete courses are given in day classes only in preparation for all theological degrees in the University of London with the exception of the degree In the Theological Department complete courses are also given for the Diploma of Associate of King's College London which is officially recognized as exempting from the General Ordination Examination Students preparing for ordination in the Church of England are required to take these courses The Council also provides classes in Theology which are open to all students of King's College BURSARIES GRANTS AND SCHOLARSHIPS The Registrar deals with reports on the work and attendance of grant or scholarship holders and application should be made to him in any case of difficulty in connection with such matters COLLEGE OFFICE The College Office is open from 30 to daily Mondays to Fridays DAILY SERVICE AND LECTURES IN THEOLOGY Under the terms of the King's College London Transfer Act 1908 and the Statutes made thereunder the Council of King's College is required to provide at least one daily service in the CoDege Chapel at which any students of University of London King's College shall be at liberty to attend if they so desire and the time-table must be so arranged as to leave the time of the Chapel service free from lectures But no student is under any compulsion to attend such service and no student may be subject to any disability on account of his religious belief There is no facility for this course except by special arrangement
