66 SCHOLARSHIPS IV-IN THE FACULTY OF LAWS ENTRANCE SCHOLARSHIPS Two Scholarships each of the value of £40 year for day students and £20 year for evening students are offered yearly each is tenable for three years The subjects for examination are the General English paper and two of the following -Latin Greek English Language and Literature French German Russian History Geography Pure Mathe- matics Chemistry Physics The successful candidate will be required to enter the Faculty of Laws at King's College as an Internal student of the University of London in October next following the Examination with the under- standing that he will proceed to an Honours degree in Laws in the University of London This Entrance Scholarship is open also to graduates of the College in Faculties other than the Faculty of Laws The examination is conducted by the London Intercollegiate Scholarships Board and will be held in February Entry forms should be obtained from the Secretary London Intercollegiate Scholarships Board University of London Senate House and returned to him by November 24th INTERMEDIATE SCHOLARSHIP Scholarship of £40 year will be awarded annually to students registered at King's College in the Faculty of Laws upon the results of the Special Intermediate Examination in Laws held at the end of each Session and upon consideration of the work done during the Session The Scholarship will be tenable for two years subject to satisfactory reports upon the student's progress The Scholar- ship will not be awarded if there is no candidate of sufficient merit
