44 GENERAL INFORMATION There is daily service at 30 and weekly celebration of Holy Communion on Wednesdays at 15 10 on the last day of term On the first day of term at 10 there is special service with sermon Commemoration Service is also held in Commemoration Week Under the terms of the King College London Transfer Act 1908 the Council is required to provide weekly Lecture in Theology The time-tables are so arranged as to allow any student who wishes it to attend these Lectures but no one may be compelled to do so The lectures will be given on Monday mornings at 10 They are designed for students desiring the Associateship of King's College and are provided for all regular students of the College without extra fee The same students can also be admitted by special permission to attend without extra fee single course of lectures among those regularly given in the Faculty of Theology ASSOCIATESHIP of KING'S COLLEGE General All students of University of London King's College may obtain the Diploma of the Associateship of King's College under the following regulations They must have attended classes in the College for at least three years as Regular Students They must have obtained degree in the University of London They must have regularly attended the two terms' course of instruction in Theology in each of the three years' course of study and have passed such examinations or other tests as may from time to time be required All those who have fulfilled the above conditions will receive certificate attesting that they have completed the course and may apply to the Council to receive the Diploma of the Associateship The fee for the Diploma is £1 11 6d Theological The Regulations are given in the Prospectus of the Theological Department REGISTER OF ASSOCIATES Associates of King's College have the following privileges provided they have their names on the Register of Associates the fee for which is £1 10i Participation in the election of two members of the Council of King's College Attendance at the lectures given in the Faculty of Theology at reduction of 20 per cent in the fee for the whole course for the Associateship Admission to College lectures and classes exclusive of labora- tories at reduction of 20 per cent in the fees The use of the Library free of charge during the period of study Receipt of copy of the Annual Report of the College Some modification may be allowed to medical students who have to spend only five or si terms in College
