UNIVERSITY OF LONDON KING'S COLLEGE ANNUAL REPORT OF THE DELEGACY FOR THE SESSION 1960-61 Presented to the Court and the Senate of the University of London A-GENERAL REPORT the delegacy The Delegacy received with the greatest regret the news of Lady Galway's retirement Lady Galway has served on the Delegacy since 1936 she was elected Fellow of the College in 1946 and throughout this time has shown the keenest interest in the affairs of the College The Delegacy recorded with pleasure its deep appreciation of her devoted service and its warm good wishes for her retirement The following new appointments to the Delegacy were made by the Senate in the course of the session Sir John Harold Evans and Sir Ivison Stevenson Macadam Mech both former students of the College Professor Bondi representative of the Professorial Board in place of Professor Bullough who retired in rotation The Hon Sir Arthur Howard was re-elected Chair- man and Sir Angus Gillan was re-elected Vice- Chairman and Treasurer Professor Bondi was elected to serve on the Finance Committee of the Delegacy The Delegacy recommended to the Senate the nomination of Professor Bullough and the Reverend Professor Dugmore as the College representatives on the Architectural Education Committee for the year beginning March 1st 1961 changes in the staff Retirements The College lost by retirement in 1961 after many years of devoted service Mr Jones and Mr Η Clarke both of whom were old students of the College The Delegacy recorded in the Minutes its warm appreciation of their services and its good wishes to them for many happy years of retirement Mr Robert Arthur Jones was student at King's College 1912-15 and took his Honours degree in 1916 He then served in the forces and
