210 SYLLABUS OF CLASSES General Principles of Organisation and Management in Chemical Works General economic and legal factors-Cost of production due to plant materials labour and superintendence-Cost and flow sheets-Plant maintenance and depreciation-Health and safety regulations FEES 1962-63 Composition Fee This comprises registration fee tuition fee ex- amination entry fee and all other similar fees charged by the University or the College £87 year LEVERHULME STUDENTSHIP This studentship was founded in 1936 by the Trustees under the will of the first Viscount Leverhulme in order to enable students who have already received general training in the principles of chemical engineering to conduct original research or to pursue an advanced course of study in that subject at King's College Students are eligible who have successfully pursued three terms course of study as prescribed for candidates for the Diploma in Chemical Engineering and who may be expected to pursue prescribed advanced course of study or research The present value of the Studentship is £500 year for one or two years For detailed regulations see the Scholarships section of the College Calendar This will cover only one attempt at each examination
