COURSES OF STUDY 185 Entry to the Examination 18 The examination entry fees are as follows -£7 each for Parts II and III for re-entry in one subject of Part or Part II see Sections and 12 above £3 For examination in supplementary subject the fee is £3 The entry form when completed must be forwarded together with the fee to the Academic Registrar of the University not later than 20th February after which date no entry can be received candidate who withdraws from the examination before the last date of entry may receive back the fee paid less £1 candidate who withdraws from the examination after the last date of entry but not later than lst May may receive back half the fee paid or where this fee is more than £8 he may receive back the fee paid less £4 The time-table of the examination is furnished by the University to each candidate showing both the time and place of the examination in each subject Award of the Degree 19 Before being eligible for the degree the candidate must have completed all the requirements for Part Part II and Part III and the degree will be awarded on the combined results under the following classifications -First Class Honours Upper Second Class Honours and Lower Second Class Honours candidate who fails to obtain the minimum mark for Honours may be awarded Pass degree 20 Before the conferment of the degree upon candidates who have passed the examinations of the University the authorities of King's College shall certify that each candidate has satisfied all the requirements of the College and of the University 21 diploma for the degree of Sc Eng- under the Seal of the University shall be delivered to each candidate who has passed after the report of the examiners shall have been approved by the Senate 22 Candidates who have passed the Sc Eng examination may enter for examination in one or more supplementary subjects College Diploma and Certificate 23 The King's College London Diploma in Engineering will be awarded to candidates who succeed in obtaining an Honours degree and the King's College London Certificate in Engineering will be awarded to candidates who obtain Pass degree provided however that the candidates have complied with any requirements other than passing examinations laid down by the authorities of the College
