184 FACULTY OF ENGINEERING Part III 14 candidate who has either passed the Part II examination or has been referred in one subject under Section 12 and candidate who has satisfied the examiners in the Part II examination and is still referred in one subject of Part under Section may proceed to Part III and may take the Part III examination after having satisfactorily attended the approved course for one academic year candidate who satisfies the examiners in Part III but has still to pass in referred subject in Part or Part II will be credited with Part III and allowed to complete by passing in the referred subject alone at some future examination candidate who under Section 13 satisfies the examiners in Part III will be credited with Part III pending the completion of the requirements of the Part II examination 15 The subjects of Part III are as follows Group Λ Civil Theory of Structures Theory of Structures II Soil Mechanics Civil Engineering Civil Engineering II Strength and Elasticity of Materials Individual Problem Group Β MecJianical Dynamics of Fluids Heat and Thermodynamics Heat and Thermodynamics II Applied Mechanics Applied Mechanics II Strength and Elasticity of Materials Individual Problem Group Electrical Electrical Theory Electrical Power Electrical Machines Electrical Measurements Electronics Telecommunication Individual Problem 16 In each group the Part III examination consists of one three-hour paper in each subject and the assessment of course work and of the individual problem 17 candidate will not be referred at Part III If he fails he may enter for the whole of the Part III examination on subsequent occasion
