COURSE OF STUDY 183 10 The subjects of Part II are as follows Group Civil Mathematics Mechanics of Fluids Engineering Metallurgy Surveying Theory of Structures Theory of Structures II Soil Mechanics Engineering Geology Group Î’ Mechanical Mathematics Mechanics of Fluids Engineering Metallurgy Heat and Thermodynamics Heat and Thermodynamics II Electrical Technology Mechanics of Machines Mechanical Engineering Design Group Electrical Mathematics Mechanics of Fluids Engineering Metallurgy Heat and Thermodynamics Electrical Technology Electrical Technology II Electronics Electrical Theory 11 In each group the Part II examination consists of three-hour paper in each subject except Mathematics and the assessment of course work In Mathematics there are two three-hour papers and no course work 12 The Board of Examiners may refer candidate at Part II in not more than one subject He may re-enter for that subject at subsequent Part II examination Simultaneous reference at Part and Part II will not be permitted 13 candidate absent through illness from part of the Part II examination may apply for permission to proceed to the Part III course and if he so desires for permission to enter for the whole of the Part II and Part III examinations together in subsequent year
