TUTORIAL STUDENTSHIPS 75 The Studentships will be awarded after advertisement but with- out examination by the Principal acting on the recommendations of the Chemical Engineering Committee of King's College Applications giving full details of the applicant's education and any National Service or industrial experience shall reach the Registrar by date to be advertised each year The emoluments of the Studentships will be paid in equal terminal instalments VIII-IN VARIOUS FACULTIES TUTORIAL STUDENTSHIPS Each year the College offers Tutorial Studentships in various science and engineering departments They are renewable annually up to maximum of four years' tenure so that the departments in which they fall vacant vary from year to year The vacancies are advertised generally in May The emoluments are Ā£425 year with free tuition in King's College and certain examination entry fees The holders are required to work for higher degree not necessarily of the University of London though the Studentships must be held in the College and to give limited amount of tutorial or demonstration assistance in their departments Tutorial Studentships in French German and Laws are similarly offered from time to time Their emoluments are the same but the holders are required to be present in the relevant departmental library during its hours of opening in term time
