SCHOLARSHIPS-MEDICAL SCIENCE 71 The Scholarships may not be held with the Sambrooke Medical Scholarship The special Divinity subjects for 1962 are St Mark's Gospel Clarendon Bible Science History and Faith Alan Richardson The Examination is conducted by the London Inter-Collegiate Scholarships Board and will be held in February Entry forms should be obtained from the Secretary of the Board Mr John Rathborn University of London Senate House and returned to him before November 30th -- First Year Scholarship The conditions of award of this Scholarship are being revised The Scholarships are of the value of £200 payable in five yearly instalments of £40 and one will be offered for competition each year The Scholarship is offered for competition to candidates men or women who entered the College in the previous October upon course of study for the First Examination for the Degrees of the University of London There will be Written Examination in Divinity and in the sub- jects of the First Examination of the University of London The Examination in Divinity will be held in May of each year and entries must be received by the Secretary of King's College not later than the end of the previous Michaelmas term No Practical Examination will be held but laboratory notebooks will be inspected and marks awarded accordingly One-fifth of the whole number of marks obtainable in the Examin- ation will be allotted to Divinity The Divinity subjects will be the same as those for the Warneford Medical Entrance Scholarships The holders of these Scholarships must undertake to pursue their clinical studies at King's College Hospital The holders of these Scholarships are required to attend the weekly lecture in Divinity for non-Theological Students and to pass such examinations or other tests in the subject of the lectures as the Lecturers may from time to time require Before the payment of the emoluments of Scholarship the Principal and the Dean must receive on behalf of the holder certificate of good conduct and satisfactory progress ii of regular attendance at the Divinity and Medical Lectures and Examinations 10 The Scholarships may not be held with the Sambrooke Medical Scholarship
