FACULTY OF LAWS 127 in which every undergraduate is expected to participate as an essential part of his curriculum All undergraduates become members of one or other of the twelve Moot Clubs The Clubs compete among them- selves for the annual award of the Moot Cup which was presented to the Faculty Society by Professor Graveson in 1961 The four finalists in the competition receive individual prizes of books provided from the funds of the King's College Laws Faculty Trust Social Facilities All students registered in the Faculty are eligible for membership of the King's College Faculty of Laws Society Students who pay composition fee are automatically members of the Union Society of King's College and are thereby entitled to membership of large number of College Societies Further particulars are given under the heading General Information and also in the Union Society Handbook Students who become students of the University are eligible for membership of the University of London Union and Athletic Union Kino's College Faculty of Laws Society This Society organises the non-academic activities of the students of the Faculty and is the representative of the Faculty in all matters connected with the Union Society of the College It is of the utmost importance that all students should become members that they may play full part in the life of the College Meetings and social functions are held during the year at times convenient to Day and Evening Students The subscription is 2a 6d per annum for Day Students and 2a for Evening Students and should be paid to the Hon Treasurer King's College London Association Laws Branch This Association of Old Students of King's College has special branch for students who have been members of the Faculty of Laws The purpose of this branch is to maintain oontact with those interested in law after leaving the College Further particulars can be obtained from the Hon Secretary Laws Branch King's College King's Counsel Since 1938 the Faculty Society has produced its own law journal under the above title The editorial committee consisting of undergraduates invites contributions of articles on topics of legal interest
