126 FACULTY OF LAWS Applications for exemption under this Regulation must be made on form which can be obtained from the Secretary to the Council of Legal Education Stone Buildings Lincoln's Inn London Articled Clerks The University of London is Law School approved by the Law Society under the Solicitors Act 1932 and attendance at an approved course of lectures at any of the Colleges of the University complies with the requirements of the Law Society as to attendance at course of Legal Education approved by that Society An Articled Clerk who takes or has taken the course for the degree of LL will also satisfy the requirements of attendance at Law School The LL degree exempts Articled Clerks from the Intermediate Examination of the Law Society except the Accounts and Bookkeeping portion PRIVILEGES OF STUDENTS OF KING'S COLLEGE Libraries Students who pay the tuition fees are entitled to the use of the libraries at King's College University College and the London School of Economics if attending lectures there and to the other facilities offered by these Colleges to intercollegiate students The Laws Library at King's College is open during term from 10 to 45 on Mondays to Thursdays and until 30 on Fridays it is closed on Saturdays The days and hours of opening during the vacations are announced towards the end of the appropriate terms Books may not be borrowed from the Laws Library of King's College except under special arrangements announced from time to time Registered students of the University are entitled to admission to the University Library on the recommendation in writing of teacher of the University Books may be borrowed from the University Library Postgraduate students may use the Library of the Institute of Ad- vanced Legal Studies 25 Russell Square Harold Potter Memorial Library This library consisting mainly of law reports was formed by sub- scription in 1953 to commemorate Professor Harold Potter Dean of the Faculty of Laws from 1930 to 1951 It may be opened to individual students during normal College hours by permission of the Dean No book may be removed from this library Moots In addition to the usual inter-collegiate and inter-university moots and debates an organised system of law moots exists within the Faculty
