FACULTY OF LAWS 125 Candidates must submit published papers or books constituting an original contribution to the advancement of legal knowledge ACADEMIC POSTGRADUATE DIPLOMA IN LAW The University grants an Academic Postgraduate Diploma in Law to graduates of London and other universities who have attended course of study in the University of London extending over not less than one year and have passed the prescribed examination EXEMPTIONS Bab Examinations The following exemptions from subjects in Part of the Bar Examina tion may be granted under Regulation 23 of the Consolidated Regula- tions of the Inns of Court to persons who have satisfied the examiners in subjects of the London LL Examination from Soman Law on passing in that subject at the Intermediate LL Examination from Constitutional Law and Legal History on passing in the papers on Constitutional Law and the English Legal System at the Intermediate LL Examination from Contract and Tort if the candidate has obtained Seoond Class Honours at the LL Examination or has attained standard corresponding to Second Class Honours in respect of the two papers on the General Principles of English Law at the Pinal LL Examina- tion before 1947 or has at examinations held during 1947 or subse- quently attained standard corresponding to Second Class Honours in respect of the paper on Tort at Part of the Final LL Examination and in respect of the paper on Contract at the Intermediate LL Examinations from Real Property if the candidate has obtained Second Class Honours at the LL Examination including this subject or has attained standard corresponding to Second Class Honours in respect of the paper on this subject at the Final LL Examination from Criminal Law if the candidate has obtained Seoond Class Honours at the LL Examination including this subject or has attained standard corresponding to Second Class Honours in respect of the paper on this subject at the Final LL Examination held in 1947 or subsequently or has before 1947 attained standard corre- sponding to Second Class Honours in respect of the paper on this subject at the Intermediate LL Examination
