98 FACULTY OF ARTS COURSES OF STUDY The Faculty provides systematic courses of study in Arts suitable for students preparing for the Internal Degrees and Diplomas the University of London At the present time as regards the first or degree of the Univer- eity only Regular students are admitted that is students who take full-time course with the object of graduating and pay the Composition Fee of the Faculty Owing to pressure of numbers the admission of occasional students is suspended The attention of students is called to the General College Rules for which see Table of Contents I-FOR THE DEGREE OF THE UNIVERSITY OF LONDON Directions for Application Application forms and copies of the prospectus should be obtained from the Registrar of the College Applications from Women should reach the Tutor to Women Students not later than 31st December before the proposed date of entry Applications from Men should reach the Sub-Dean of the Faculty of Arts not later than 31st January before the proposed date of entry Final decisions of acceptance or rejection are not made until after the closing da te of entry in each case An applicant who is offered place at another London college before March 31st and who has preference for King's College should not with- draw his application from King's without first consulting the Registrar mentioning the Faculty for which he has applied It is desirable that applicants should fill in their forms in their own handwriting Condition's of Entry In order to be qualified for admission to any college of this Uni- versity an applicant must satisfy the University's minimum require- ments The procedure to be followed is the same for all Faculties and is outlined above under General Information on page 42 For direct entry to any course for the General or Honours degree the satisfaction of the minimum entry requirements must be achieved by means of subjects selected from the approved list of
