CLASSES 163 PHYSIOLOGY Head of the Department To be appointed -B So Special Physiology Students should consult the Professor with regard to the course -Research etc The Laboratory is available to all who wish to carry out original investigations and instruction will be given to those who require it Details may be obtained from the Professor BIOCHEMISTRY William Robson Sc Ph Reader and Head of the Department Suitably qualified Internal and External Graduates of the University of London as well as Graduates of other Universities may be admitted to courses leading to the degrees of Sc and Ph in Biochemistry Such students must already possess good Honours Degree in Chemistry together with biological subject up to subsidiary standard but candi- dates possessing good General Degree may under certain conditions commence course leading to either degree Enquiries should be sent to the Reader in Biochemistry PHARMACOLOGY George Brownlee Sc Ph Reader and Head of the Department Suitably qualified Internal and External Graduates of the University of London as well as Graduates of other Universities may be admitted to courses leading to the degrees of Sc and Ph in Pharmacology Candidates with the following qualifications may be admitted directly to the course Sc Special Degree with Honours in Physiology Sc Special Degree with Honours in Chemistry with Physiology as subsidiary subject or as an ancillary subject studied over two- year course Sc General Degree with Honours with Physiology and Chemistry Pharm Degree with Honours revised Regulations with Pharma- cology in Part II of the final examination Graduates of this or other Universities who do not possess these qualifications may be admitted under certain conditions Enquiries should be sent to the Reader in Pharmacology Particulars about registration are given in the University Red Book Students in the Faculty of Natural Science cannot at present be accepted for courses in this subject
