general information for the candidates to collect as they enter as the member of the staff in charge of the examination may decide Candidates are responsible for seeing that they have the right question papers and should immediately report any mistake in distribution to the invigilator in charge 17 When leaving the examination room candidates shall either leave all their written work on their desks or place it in trays provided as the invigilator in charge shall direct Candidates are responsible for the proper return of their written work Discipline 18 Strict order is required in all classes held in the College and all members of the Teaching Staff of the College are invested with the authority necessary for the maintenance of order in their classes 19 Each Professor Lecturer or other Officer of the College will oonsider it his duty to report any serious breach of discipline committed by student 20 The Principal is responsible for the maintenance of discipline among the students of the College other than those of the Faculty of Theology In maintaining discipline among women students he will always act in consultation with the Tutor to Women Students Maintenance of discipline among Theological students is vested in the Dean of King's College but he will act in concert with the Principal if questions arise which affect the discipline of other students or of the College as whole 21 Kin the opinion of the Principal or as regards Theological students the Dean any student shall persistently violate any rules or regula- tions or ii the conduct of any student either within or without the precincts of the College shall be derogatory to his station in society or to the welfare or character of the College the Principal or as regards Theological students the Dean shall have the power to fine or suspend the student for period not extending beyond the current term 22 Should the Principal consider the conduct of any student other than Theological student to be such as to require more serious notice he will convene Court of Discipline consisting of the Principal the Deans of all the Faculties and if the conduct of any woman student is in question the Tutor to Women Students This Court shall have power to pass sentence either of temporary exclusion or of permanent expulsion from the College The student concerned shall be given an opportunity of attending the meeting of the Court and offering an explanation 23 Should the Dean consider the conduct of any Theological student to be such as to require more serious notice he will- If he regards the conduct of such student as specially derogatory to his position in the Theological Department convene Court of Discipline consisting of the Dean the Principal the Chaplain and three professors or principal teachers of the Depart- ment or-
