172 FACULTY OF MEDICAL SCIENCE FEES All Fees are payable in advance A-Registration Fees Registration Fee of £1 Is must be paid by each Regular Student upon acceptance by the Dean of the Faculty This fee is not returnable and in the event of non-entry it is forfeited In addition further charge of £1 Is is made to each Overseas Student upon acceptance this fee is deducted from the general Tuition Fees upon entry but in the event of non-entry it is forfeited Registration Fee of 5s is payable by Occasional Students on the occasion of their first entry to the College in any Session B-Fees for Regular Students Medical Courses University or Conjoint Board First including Biology £40 per annum or if paid terminally £14 in the first term £14 in the second term and £13 in the third term ii Second or First Conjoint Course £44 per annum or if paid terminally £15 per term Course for Sc Special Degree in Physiology when available £31 10s per annum Dental Courses University or Royal College of Surgeons Information as to fees should be obtained from the Dental School to which the student is applying For the Fees for the Final Medical Studies see the Prospectuses of the Hospital Medical Schools previously mentioned and for the Hospital Dental Courses see the Prospectuses of King's College Hospital Dental School and the Royal Dental Hospital The fees under and cover payments for the Library Locker Union Society Athletic Ground and most games subscriptions but deposit of 5s is charged for locker key The Tuition Fees are reduced 20 per cent in the case of boys who enter the College direct from King's College School or Strand School provided they have attended at least five terms in the School Subject to the approval of the Dean of the Faculty Regular Student in this Faculty of the College may take any one CJass not being Laboratory Class in any other Faculty without extra tuition fee Deposits Students are required to pay deposit of £2 2s for the locker and apparatus supplied in the Chemical Laboratories At the end of the course the deposit is returnable less any charges for replacements
