148 FACULTY OF NATURAL SCIENCE D-Fees for other Courses and Special Classes Chemical Engineering Tuition Fees 35 guineas per annum for students taking the Course as Third-year course qualifying for the Degree 30 guineas per annum for Graduates 24 guineas per annum for students whose names are on the Register of Aduates of the College Apparatus and Materials Deposit Students are required to pay deposit of £5 This is returnable on the completion of their course of study less charges for loss or breakages of apparatus Fees for Research -The fees payable by persons of academic standing person who holds or has held an academic post engaged in pure research other than for Higher Degree are guineas term or 10 guineas session For students of ordinary postgraduate standing engaged in pure research work other than for Higher Degree the fees are the same as for the Ph Course namely £22 li per annum For persons engaged in research for commercial purposes fee will be fixed in each case on its merits Laboratory Fees -The fees for students working independently of the Practical Classes are as follows days week £6 68 per term or £15 15s per annum days week £12 12s per term or £30 per annum together with fee of 15s per term or £1 17s 6d per annum for material and apparatus For graduates of the College and other internal graduates who do not take the full course for which the above composition fees are prescribed special fee will be in each case arranged in accordance with the nature of the individual course pursued All King's College graduates who wish to continue their studies in any subject though not actually pursuing postgraduate oourse under the conditions set out above may by the payment of registration fee of £1 10s keep their names on the College books and enjoy the privileges of registered students as enumerated in the General Information section Separate Classes The fees payable for each separate Subject and Class unless other- wise stated are on the basis of £1 lis per term or £4 4s per annum for one hour per week in the case of Lectures and £3 3s per term or £8 8s per annum for three hours per week in the case of Practical Work
