126 FACULTY OF LAWS Articled Clerks The University of London is Law School approved by the Law Society under the Solicitors Act 1932 and attendance at an approved course of lectures at the three Colleges of the University complies with the requirements of the Law Society as to attendance at course of Legal Education approved by that Society Articled Clerks who take course for the degree of LL will also satisfy the requirements of attendance at Law School The LL degree exempts Articled Clerks from the Intermediate Examination of the Law Society except the Accounts and Bookkeeping portion Course before Articles -Any student who has passed the Matricula- tion Examination of the University of London or an examination ex- empting therefrom in either case with Latin and has subsequently to the satisfaction of the University attended the full curriculum for the Intermediate LL London and has passed that examination is required to be articled for four years PRIVILEGES OP STUDENTS OF KING'S COLLEGE Libraries Students who pay Composition fees become intercollegiate Laws Students and as such are entitled to the use of the libraries at King's College University College and the School of Economics and to the other facilities offered by these Colleges to intercollegiate students The Laws library at King's College is open during term from 10 to 15 on Mondays Wednesdays and Fridays from 30 to 15 on Tuesdays and from 10 to 12 30 on Thursdays It is closed on Saturdays and during the Long Vacation The days and hours of opening during the Christmas and Easter vacations are announced towards the ends of the Michaelmas and Lent terms Registered students of the University are entitled to admission to the University Library on the recommendation in writing of teaoher of the University Social Facilities Students attending any of the Laws lectures are eligible for mem- bership of the King's College Faculty of Laws Society Students who pay composition fee are automatically members of the Union Society of King's College and are thereby entitled to membership of large number of College Societies Further particulars are given under the heading General Information and also in the Union Society Handbook
