CLASSES 107 Α1β- 2nd and 3rd years English and American Literature since 1880 Prose and Drama hr A17- 2nd and 3rd years American Literature since 1770 hr A18- 2nd and 3rd years Old Norse hrs A19- 2nd and 3rd years -The Classical Background to English Literature hrs A20- 2nd and 3rd years Anglo-Saxon Archaeology hr A21- 2nd and 3rd years Palaeography and Bibliography hr There will be an optional class in Old Norse for students not offering it as Special Subject All Honours students will do tutorial work in pairs or small groups Ill-Intercollegiate Lectures The intercollegiate lectures which are given on Wednesday morn- ings are open to all Honours students They will be held at the Senate House Further details will be announced in the Department at the beginning of the session IV-Postgraduate Work All Postgraduate and Research Students should communicate with the Head of the Department at the beginning of the session Facilities for research will be provided in both Mediaeval and Modern Language and Literature in Old Norse and in Comparative Philology course in Palseography and seminar will be held for full-time students
