72 FACULTY OF ARTS FEES All Fees are payable in advance A-Registration Fees Registration Fee of £1 le must be paid by each full-time student upon acceptance by the Dean of the Faculty This fee is non-returnable and in the event of non-entry it is forfeited In addition further charge of £1 le is made to each Overseas Student upon acceptance this is deducted from the general Tuition Fees upon entry but in the event of non-entry it is forfeited Registration Fee of 5s is charged to Occasional Students on the occasion of their first entry to the College in any session Β-Composition Fe'es for Regular Undergraduate Courses Tuition Fees Intermediate Arts -£31 10s per annum or £34 13s with Science subjects General or Honours in all cases except those mentioned in -£35 14s per annum General or Honours with Science Subjects -£38 17s per annum Diploma in English Literature -£29 8s per annum Diploma in Geography -£29 8s per annum special Registration Fee of £2 is charged to Honours students spending session or part of session at foreign University in connection with their degree courses If student has passed the Intermediate Examination before enter- ing College and takes his Degree Examination after two years and then spends one year on an approved course of study qualifying for the award of the Degree and that course consists of research work or is part of course for Higher Degree the fee for such approved course will be £31 10s The Tuition Fees are reduced by 20 per cent in the case of boys who enter the College direct from King's College School or from Strand School provided they produce certificate stating that they have attended at least five terms in the School Subject to the approval of the Dean of the Faculty and of the Lecturer concerned regular student in the Faculty of Arts may attend any class in his own Faculty or any one class in any other Faculty without extra tuition fee Examination Fees payable to the University Intermediate £6 6s General £6 6s Honours £7 7s
