31 SCHOLARSHIPS IV-IN THE FACULTY OF LAWS Entrance Scbolarsbip The Scholarship is of the value of £30 per annum for day students and £20 per annum for evening students It is offered yearly and is tenable for three years The subjects for examination are the writing of an English essay Latin History and one of the following -French German Spanish or Pure Mathematics The successful candidate will be required to enter the Faculty of Laws at King's College as an Internal student of the University of London in October next following the Examination with the under- standing that he will proceed to an Honours Degree in Laws in the University of London This Entrance Scholarship is open also to graduates of the College in Faculties other than the Faculty of Laws There is no age limit The examination is conducted by the London Inter-Collegiate Scholarships Board and will be held in February Entry forms should be obtained from the Secretary of the Board Mr Wallace LL University of London Examination Halls Imperial Institute Road London before December 1944 Candidates are advised to devote special attention to English History Jntermebtate Scbolarsbip Scholarship of £30 per annum will be awarded annually to students registered at King's College in the Faculty of Laws upon the results of the Special Intermediate Examination in Laws held at the end of each Session and upon consideration of the work done during the Session The Scholarship will be tenable for two years subject to satisfactory reports upon the student's progress The Scholarship will not be awarded if there is no candidate of sufficient merit
