26 GENERAL INFORMATION KING'S COLLEGE OLD STUDENTS' ASSOCIATION Acting President The Very Reverend the Dean of St Paul's Acting Chairman Professor Harold Potter Ph LL Hon Treasurer Smith LL Membership is open to all past students who have been members of the College for at least three terms and to all present students in theirthird year and to past and present members of the College Staff Those wishing to join should communicate with the Hon Secretary On account of the war the Annual Meeting and other functions are not being held and the Year Book is not being published but report on the College work in evacuation has been issued The Association is also with the co-operation of the College authorities endeavouring to main- tain as complete record as possible of the war-time activities of past students Accordingly all such whether members of the Association or not are urged to send to the Hon Secretary King's College Strand London their name permanent address years at College and particulars of any war-time service on which they are engaged including their rank if serving in forces and to keep him informed of any changes in these particulars and of any decorations or distinctions received REGISTER OP GRADUATES AND DIPLOMA STUDENTS All former students of University of London King's College or of the Theological Department of King's College who have been for not less than three years students of the College and who are either Graduates or Associates or have gained the College Certificate or Diploma in Engineering or the Diploma of the Conjoint Examining Board of the Royal Colleges of Physicians and Surgeons are allowed to retain their names on the College books on payment of registration fee of Ā£1 10s and are accorded the following privileges Admission at reduction of 20 per cent in the fees to College lectures and classes exclusive of Laboratories ii The use of the Library free of charge during the period of study iii The receipt of copy of the College Annual Report UNIVERSITY OF LONDON APPOINTMENTS BOARD Within the limits imposed by the Ministry of Labour the Appointments Board continues to find suitable posts for men and women students of the University The Board has been sanctioned by the Ministry of Labour as placing agency under the Control of Engagement Order with powers to place women between the ages of 20-40 The Registration fee for period of six months is 2s Qd Students are recommended to register during the last year of their Degree Course Full particulars may be obtained from the Acting Secretary University of London Appointments Board 15 Gordon Square London Telephone EUSton 1440
