GENERAL INFORMATION 17 year may bo granted the Diploma if they have attended the courses for non-theological students in each of their first two years and have passed the examination in each year Students who have been excused the first year of the degree course on account of work done elsewhere may be granted the Diploma if they have attended the courses for non-theological students in each of their two years in College and have passed the examination in each year AH those who have fulfilled the above conditions will receive certificate attesting that they have completed the course and may apply to the Council to receive the Diploma of the Associateship The fee for the Diploma is £1 11 6d Theological The Regulations are given in the Prospectus of the Theological Department Privileges of Associates Associates of King's College have the following privileges pro- vided they keep their names on the Register of Graduates and Diploma Students the fee for which is £ 10 Participation in the election of two members of the Council of King's College Attendance at tho lectures given in the Faculty of Theology at reduction of 20 per cent in the fee for the whole course for the Associateship or at the course at fee of guineas term Admission to College lectures and classes exclusive of labora- tories at reduction of 20 per cent in the fees Admission to the Library free of charge during the period of study Receipt of copy of the Annual Report of the College WAR MEMORIAL The Athletic Ground at Mitcham which was purchased by the War Memorial Committee as part of the College War Memorial was brought into use at the beginning of 1921 Three large Army huts were used as temporary Pavilion accommo- dation till in August 1931 the building of the permanent Pavilion was commenced This completes the College War Memorial which consists of the Athletic Ground itself the Pavilion and the large doors to the College Chapel flanked by panels showing the names of the students of the College who fell in the Great War Students are now making regular contributions to the Fund which is being raised to repay the debt incurred in the building of the Pavilion The arrangements for the collection of these contributions are made by the Union Society assisted by the Faculty organizations Each student is asked to contribute minimum of Is per term
