134 faculty OF laws EXEMPTIONS Bab Examinations The following exemptions from subjects of the first part of the Bar Examination may be granted to persons who have satisfied the Examiners in subjects of the London LL Examinations from Roman Law on passing in that subject at the Intermediate LL examination from Constitutional Law on passing in the papers in Con- stitutional Law and the English Legal System at the Intermediate LL examination from Elements of Contract and Tort if the candidate has obtained Second Class Honours in the LL Examination or has attained standard corresponding to Second Class Honours in respect of the two papers on General Principles of English Law from Elements of Real Property if the candidate has obtained Second Class Honours in the LL Examination with this subject or has attained standard equivalent to that required for Second Class Honours in the LL paper on English Land Law Articled Clebks The University of London is Law School approved by the Law Society under the Solicitors Act 1932 And attendance at an approved course of lectures at the three Colleges of the University complies with the requirements of the Law Society as to attendance at course of Legal Education approved by that Society Articled Clerks who take course for the degree of LL will also satisfy the requirements' of attendance at Law School The LL degree exempts Articled Clerks from the Intermediate Examination except the Accounts and Bookkeeping portions Solicitors Act 1932 -Any student who has passed the Matriculation Examination of the University of London or an examination exempting therefrom in either case with Latin and has subsequently to the satisfaction of the University attended the full curriculum for the Intermediate LL London and has passed the examination need be articled for only four years PRIVILEGES OF STUDENTS OF KING'S COLLEGE Libraries Students who pay Composition fees become intercollegiate Law Students and as such are entitled to the use of the libraries at King's College University College and the School of Economics and to the other facilities offered by these Colleges to intercollegiate students The Law library at King's College is open during term from 10 to 45 daily except on Saturdays when it is closed at During the vacations it is open in general from 10 to 30 daily except on Saturdays when it is closed See note at head of 132
