52 scholabships and exhibitions The student will be required to pursue full-time course of study at King's College for the Degree or Ph Degree in English or History respectively and to give some assistance in teaching in the Department of English or of Modern History The student will enter upon his Studentship in the Session following that in which he has completed his Course in accordance with University regulations Payment for the Studentship will be made in three equal instal- ments at the end of each term on receipt of satisfactory certificate of attendance and progress from the Head of the Department in which the student is studying IV -FACULTY OF LAWS Entrance Scbolarsbip The Scholarship is of the value of £30 per annum for day students and £20 per annum for evening students It is offered yearly and is tenable for three years The subjects for examination are Latin History French or German or Mathematics and an English essay The successful candidate will be required to enter the Faculty of Laws at King's College as an Internal student of the University of London in October next following the Examination with the under- standing that he will proceed to an Honours Degree in Laws in the University of London This Entrance Scholarship is open also to graduates of the College in Faculties other than the Faculty of Laws There is no age limit The next Examination will be held in February by the London Intercollegiate Scholarships Board Candidates should apply to Mr Ranner Secretary to the Board King's College Hospital Medical School for form of entry which must be sent in in January Candidates are advised to devote special attention to English History Jntermebiate Scbolarebip Scholarship of £30 per annum will be awarded annually to students registered at King's College in the Faculty of Laws upon the results of the Special Intermediate Examination in Laws held at the end of each Session and upon consideration of the work done during the Session The Scholarship will be tenable for two years subject to satisfactory reports upon the students' progress The Scholarship will not be awarded if there is no candidate of sufficient merit -FACULTY OF NATURAL SCIENCE Sambroofte Scbolarsbip in Science Scholarship of £40 per annum for three years will be offered annually to candidates entering the Faculty of Natural Science
