general information 39 III -Hostel for Women Students Warden Miss Pbiscilla Boys-Smith MJL The Hostel for Women Students is situated in Bayswater and provides accommodation for 56 students The Hostel is close to Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park and is within easy reach of the College It is well furnished and contains large common-room dining-room and reading-rooms Provision is made for full board on Saturdays and Sundays and for breakfast and dinner on other days and the charges vary from £55 to £70 per Session according to the room selected For conditions of entry regulations and terms application should be made to the Warden King's College Hostel for Women 58 Queensborough Terrace Hyde Park IV -Lodgings The College Authorities prefer that students should reside in one of the College Hostels Students who are compelled to live in lodgings are recommended to apply in the first instance to the Lodgings Officer University of London Lodgings Bureau 42 Torrington Square who will gladly assist in finding suitable lodging accommodation REFRESHMENTS Luncheons Teas and Light Refreshments at very moderate prices are provided in the Refectory which is open from 10 30 to 30 COMMON ROOMS The Arts Science and Theological Students have united Common Room the Engineering and the Medical Students have separate Common Rooms allotted to them in the College Women Students have Common Room and Reading Room STUDENTS' LOCKERS For the use of Students lockers are placed in the Corridors in the Lobby leading to the Anatomical Department as well as in some of the Class-rooms Drawers are also placed in the Drawing Class-room II Each Regular Student is entitled to have one of these lockers of drawers allotted to him for the period of his Academic Course provided this does not exceed five years deposit fee of five shillings is charged and will be returned to the Student upon his leaving College
