266 FACULTY OF THEOLOGY REGULATIONS FOR ADMISSION OF STUDENTS No Student can be admitted under the age of 18 save by special permission of the Theological Board Every Candidate for Admission to the course for the Diploma and Testamur must send to the Dean written application for admission accompanied by the names of two or more persons to whom he is well known as referees photograph of himself preferably of passport size The form of application can be obtained from the Dean's Secretary the candidate must also undertake that full and confidential report as to his fitness to enter upon course of training for Holy Orders is received by the Dean from the vicar of his parish or the vicar of the church which he habitually attends the candidate is asked to write confidential letter to the Dean stating as clearly and fully as possible his reasons for seeking ordination Candidates for entrance to the Preliminary Year must satisfy the Board that they are fitted to begin course of Study in the Faculty Candidates for the Associateship must sign declaration of membership of the Church of England Previous to admission each Student must sign declaration that he will conform to the rules and regulations of the College Students attend Lectures and official duties in the Cap and Gown prescribed by the College All students on admission to the Faculty are required to furnish satisfactory evidence of good health All Studonts are required on the first day of Term before admis- sion to the Faculty to appear before the Dean and Theological Board All Students are expected to attend the Opening Service of Term at 10 and to make at least three attendances week at Chapel during the term 10 Students who wish to join the Faculty are requested to com- municate with the Dean 11 Each student on entering the College will be allotted to member of the Staff as his Tutor Notes -1 Occasional Students are not subject to the above rules but are obliged to conform to the rules of the College as stated in the Calendar All Students regular or occasional must register themselves at the beginning of each Session with the Theological Registrar Students who are preparing for Holy Orders are reminded that the Bishops require testimonials from three Beneficed Clergymen besides the University Degree or the College Associateship and Testamur It is desirable therefore that Students should keep themselves within the personal knowledge of three Beneficed Clergymen during the
