FACULTY OF MEDICAL SCIENCE 195 DENTAL COURSES Courses of Study for the Degree in Dental Surgery of the University of London after Matriculation First Examination for Dental Degrees Held in July and December Inorganic Chemistry Biology "1y Physics including Mechanics Zoology Second Examination for Dental Degrees Held in July and December Parti Anatomy Physiology and Prosthetic Dentistry including Metallurgy Part II Special Anatomy Special Physiology and Dental Histology For the Courses of Study for the Third and Fourth Examinations see the Prospectus of King's College Hospital Dental School Courses of Study for the Licence in Dental Surgery of the Royal College of Surgeons candidate for the Licence in Dental Surgery of the Royal College of Surgeons of England is required to pass one of the Preliminary examinations in general education recognised by the Examining Board in England and the Pre-medical examination in Science Chemistry Physics and Biology conducted by that Board-or one of the examinations recognised by the Board in lieu thereof to comply with the Regulations and to pass the several examina- tions mentioned below There are three Professional examinations for the Licence in Dental Surgery The curriculum of Professional study extends over four years subsequent to the date of passing Part Chemistry and Physics of the Pre-medical examination The Professional examinations are as follows First Examination Parts II and III Second Examination Final Examination Parts and II Full particulars may be obtained from the Secretary to the Conjoint Board Examination Hall 8-11 Queen Square In King's College instruction is given in all subjects of the First ofessional Examination except Dental Mechanics The First Professional Examination is held three times year usually in February May and September
