faculty of natural science 165 FEES All Fees are Payable in Advance Registration Fees Registration Fee of £1 Is must be paid by each full-time student upon acceptance by the Dean of the Faculty This Fee is non- returnable and in the event of non-entry it is forfeited In addition further charge of £1 Is is made to each Overseas student upon acceptance This fee is deducted from the general Tuition Fees upon entry but in the event of non-entry is forfeited Composition Fees for Regular Undergraduate Courses Tuition Fees including locker rent Intermediate Science -£36 15s per annum Sc General or Special except in Mathematics or Psychology £52 10s per annum Sc Special in Mathematics or Psychology -£35 14s per annum The Tuition Fees are reduced 20 per cent in the case of boys who enter the College direct from King's College School or Strand School provided they produce certificate stating that they have attended at least five Terms in the School Subject to the approval of the Dean of the Faculty and of the Lecturer concerned Regular Student in this Faculty of the College may take any one Class in any other Faculty without extra tuition fee Apparatus Fees and Deposits Students taking the Special Honours Course in Chemistry are provided with sets of apparatus for which they pay deposit of £3 3s in the second year and £4 4s in the third year These fees are returnable less hiring fees of 10s Qd for each year and any charge for loss or breakages All Students taking Chemistry other than those pursuing an Honours Chemistry Course pay deposit of £2 2s for locker and apparatus supplied The fee is returnable at the end of the course less any charge for replacements Students taking the Special Honours Course in Botany pay deposit of 10s 6d The fee is returnable at the end of the course less any charge for replacements Students who are authorised to attend Intercollegiate courses entailing Laboratory work at Imperial College are required to deposit £2 against loss or breakages of apparatus lent Materials Fees For the use of ordinary materials Students pay fee of £1 Is per annum in respect of each laboratory attended in the First-Year
