FACULTY OF NATUBAL SCIENCE 163 General Degree Courses Three subjects must be offered selected from the following Pure Mathematics Geology Applied Mathematics Geography Physics Psychology Chemistry Physiology Botany Military Studies Zoology The College does not provide General Degree courses in Astronomy Human Anatomy and Morphology Anthropology Statistics No student is allowed to offer Applied Mathematics except in conjunction with Pure Mathematics On account of time-table difficulties students cannot take com- bination of subjects including Pure Mathematics with Zoology Applied Mathematics with Botany or Geology Physics with Botany Zoology or Geology Chemistry with Geography Zoology with Geology Special Degree Courses One main subject must Be selected from the following Mathematics Pure and Geography Applied Geology Physics Psychology Chemistry Physiology Botany Human Anatomy and Zoology Morphology An optional examination in Advanced Subjects may be taken either at the same time as the Degree Examination or in subsequent year Successful candidates will be certified as having satisfied the Examiners or as having obtained Distinction in the Advanced Subjects The College does not provide Special Degree courses in Anthropology Astronomy or Statistics Reference should be made to the Syllabus of the Faculty of Medical Science for information as to the conditions under which Physiology and Human Anatomy and Morphology can be taken as main subjects Except in the case of Mathematics as the main subject subsidiary subject must also be taken selected from the following Pure Mathematics Zoology Applied Mathematics Geology Physios Geography Chemistry Psychology Botany Physiology The College does not provide subsidiary subject courses in Astronomy Statistics Human Anatomy and Morphology Anthropology The College requires students whose main subject is Physics to offer Pure Mathematics as their subsidiary subject and students whose
