144 faculty of Xaws Dean Harold Potter Ph LL Vice-Dean Hood Phillips LL Students are prepared for the examinations of the University of London in the Faculty of Laws or are permitted at their option to attend any of the general lectures in Law or those on special subjects oonnected with the study of Law which are given from time to time in the College There is no entrance examination to the College but students entering for the University Law degree examinations must have passed the Matriculation Examination or have been exempted there- from or they must have passed the Special University Entrance Examination Particulars concerning these Examinations may be obtained in the College office but all applications for information concerning exemptions must be made to the Secretary to the Matricu- lation Council University of London Intending students who think they are exempt from Matriculation should make application for exemption at the earliest possible date in order to avoid mistake The teaching of Law in the University is conducted under an Inter- Collegiate arrangement at King's College University College and the School of Economics Under this Inter-Collegiate scheme day and evening courses for the Intermediate and Final Examinations for the LL degree have been arranged and for these Composition fees are charged The lectures are delivered at all three Colleges and students taking the evening course must be prepared to attend from three to four evenings week during Term time if they desire to take the complete course Tutorial Classes are held for both Day and Evening Students of the College and Day Students are attached for tutorial supervision to member of the Staff to whom they must report from time to time during the session Students taking the courses for the University Examinations are advised to enrol as Internal students of the University and the information which follows applies generally to courses for the Internal Degree The lectures however are open to External students of the University Evening Students may be allowed to spread their Intermediate course over two years instead of one and their Final course over three years instead of two for the same composition fee of 63 guineas to cover the full course provided that no courses are repeated
